The contest will be attended by the amateur writers across the country and members of the literary groups organized at industrial establishments and in regions.

The participants will present works of novel literature, poem and song literature, juvenile literature and drama literature of diverse themes reflecting the noble personalities of the peerlessly great men and the heroic struggle of the DPRK people who turned out in the drive for implementing the resolutions of the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Works can be sent by mail or posted on homepage of the state-run network.

At the contest, the standings of individuals and literature groups will be decided, the results be carried in Munhak Sinmun and Pyongyang Sinmun and the silk banner be awarded to the winning group.

Excellent works will be carried in the organ of the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea, Pyongyang Sinmun, etc., and be widely introduced through homepage of the state-run network.
