Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- An endless stream of working people from all walks of life, service personnel, school youth and children visit the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong where the busts of anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners, who devoted their youth and lives to the liberation of the country under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung, are standing. The cemetery is a crystal of the noble comradeship and obligation of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who desired to put forward as eternal images the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who dedicated themselves to the Party, the leader, the country and the people to the last. It is also a monument of the Juche era that shows that the life of the soldiers boundlessly loyal to the Party and the leader is always alive with the country. Over 57 million working people, service personnel and school youth and children visited the cemetery for the last 48 years after its construction. The number of visitors to the cemetery is increasing on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of Korea's liberation. The visitors pay high tribute to anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners after laying bouquets at the wreath-laying stand. |
