In the contest, more than 60 units, including the State Planning Commission, the Agricultural Commission, the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, the Ministry of Coal Industry, the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and the Ministry of Chemical Industry, will compete in football (men), volleyball (men), bowling and hurdle-overcoming race at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium, the Sosan Football Stadium, the Pyongyang Gold Lane, etc.

An opening ceremony took place at the Taekwon-Do Hall on August 16.

Present there were Vice-Premier Kim Song Ryong, Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Kim Il Guk and other senior officials and public officials and players of commissions, ministries and national institutions.
