Present there were teachers, researchers, doctors, pharmacists and graduate students from more than 10 units including Kim Chaek University of Technology, North Hamgyong Provincial General Hospital and the Hungnam Pharmaceutical Factory.

The presentation was aimed to widely disseminate and generalize the sci-tech achievements conducive to consolidating the material and technical foundation of the epidemic prevention and public health sector and promoting the people's health, true to the resolutions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

It was divided into panels of epidemic prevention and pharmacy and medical apparatuses. At least 50 papers were discussed there.
