Production Capacity Increased in Coal Industry

| Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Officials and miners in the coal industry field of the DPRK push ahead with the project for increasing the capacity to attain the goal of coal production. The Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex is propelling the work to hasten the operation of new pits and new zones. Various tunneling platoons in the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine are stepping up the main tunneling of new zone. Meanwhile, miners of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine and the Ryongdae Youth Coal Mine are providing a guarantee for smooth coal producing by accelerating various tunneling projects. The Kaechon Area Coal Mining Complex has pushed ahead with the project for developing the Samnok Coal Mine according to schedule. Similar achievements have been witnessed in all other complexes in the western area of the country. |
