The institute has several analytical rooms, a sci-tech learning space and various kinds of analytical equipment, which makes it possible to put quality analytical means and methods on a modern and scientific basis and decisively improve the quality of products and thus contribute to developing the economy in the province and improving the people's standard of living.

An inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on Aug. 21.

Attending the ceremony were Han Yong Song and Kim Jong Sop, secretaries of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, employees of the provincial quality control bureau and the provincial quality analytical institute and builders.

Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an inaugural address to be followed by speeches.
