Minju Joson on Invariable External Political Stand of DPRK
Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- The DPRK joined the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on August 25, 1975, with the absolute support and approval of the non-aligned countries.

Minju Joson says in an article on Friday that it was a brilliant fruition of the DPRK's independent and principled external policy to have become a membership of the NAM, a progressive movement opposing all sorts of domination and subjugation by imperialism and aspiring after independence.

The proud course of the NAM is associated with the tireless efforts and devotion of the great leaders who dedicated their all to the cause of independence of humankind, the article says, and goes on:

The DPRK is still striving to fulfill its mission and duty as a membership of the NAM.

The present international situation is getting tenser due to the moves of the imperialists to realize their anachronistic ambition for hegemony.

In order to prevent the imperialists' high-handedness and arbitrariness, guarantee the independent development of each country and achieve peace and stability on a world-wide scale, the non-aligned countries should closely unite and realize their noble ideals.

It is the invariable stand of the DPRK to struggle for independence, justice and peace.

The DPRK will as ever remain faithful to the principles and ideals of the NAM and fully discharge its mission and duty in accomplishing the cause of global independence.
