This year's Youth Day is becoming a more significant holiday as the young people are greeting the day in the stirring situation in which they are determined to glorify the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK with the revolutionary spirit and labor feats peculiar to the Korean youth, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in an editorial.

The editorial goes on:

All the people across the country are extending warm congratulations to all the young people who are displaying their might as reliable successors and reserves of the Party and creating clear traces of loyalty and feats at their posts and worksites, and are confidently looking forward to the bright future of the Workers' Party of Korea in their bright and vigorous appearance and brave spirit.

At a time when the younger generation is being thrown into the edge of history and forsaken as trouble-makers of society in different parts of the world, the dignified appearance of the socialist patriotic youths, who are growing up to be the successors to the Party and reserves to shoulder the cause of the Party under the care of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un convinces the victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche.

It is the great strength and pride of our Party, people and state to have a large contingent of reliable young people boundlessly remaining faithful to the leadership of the WPK and fully demonstrating their heroism and bravery in carrying out the Party's cause.

The editorial calls upon all the young people to reconcile their ideals and ambitions with the Party's intentions, respond to the call of the Party with the creation of heroic feats and thus proudly open up a new era of fresh progress and dynamism, on this land with the dynamic footsteps of millions of young vanguards.
