Seen on the upper part of the stamps are letters reading "Celebration of 75th birthday of the DPRK".

The sheet carries a photo of President Kim Il Sung announcing the political programme of the DPRK government at the First Session of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK in September Juche 37(1948), and below it are the letters reading "We pay the deepest respect and highest glory to the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, founder and builder of the Republic".

The individual stamp depicts the national flag and emblem representing the dignity and symbol of the DPRK, Hwasongpho missiles symbolic of the strategic armed forces of the DPRK, and new streets successfully built in the capital city as monuments to the love for the people in the era of the Workers' Party.
