Attending it were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), officials of party and administrative organs and working people's organizations and information workers in charge of theory from armed forces organs, the fields of science, education, literature and art, media and the preservation of revolutionary relics and party cadre training institutions.

At the symposium, Kang Yun Sok, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly and Kim Song Chan, head and concurrently editor-in-chief of the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House, and others presented papers that analyzed in depth the peerlessly great men's immortal feats for the founding and development of the Republic.

The speakers stressed that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il are peerless leaders and outstanding state leaders as they built the Republic into a dignified powerful country of Juche.

They praised the President as the father of socialist Korea who brought a new era of prosperity unprecedented in the nation's history of 5, 000 years to this land where centuries-old backwardness and poverty prevailed.

They noted that after making on Ryongnam Hill a firm pledge to glorify Korea forever, the Chairman had devoted his all to the building of a thriving country with the most ardent patriotic will until the last moments of his life.

They proved that the Republic is a genuine people's country faithfully embodying the people-first principle.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un formulated the essence of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the people-first principle and put forward it as the fundamental idea of the state building, they said, adding that this is the immortal feat performed by him to provide a firm guarantee for glorifying the Republic forever as the people's country which regards them as the genuine masters.

They explained that the DPRK is the only politico-ideological power in the world where the monolithic idea is ensured and the leader, the Party and the masses form a harmonious whole.

They called for eternally glorifying the era of our state-first principle by accelerating the comprehensive development of socialism under the leadership of the Party Central Committee.
