The Syrian president in the message extended congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and wished the friendly DPRK always progress and prosperity on the occasion of its 75th founding anniversary.

The message said that the DPRK defended its sovereignty and established the socialist system depending on the might of the people in the past decades and developed into a powerful socialist country, unfazed by the imperialists' hideous attack and sanctions.

It stated that the Syrian Arab Republic would further strengthen the historical friendly ties with the DPRK in the interests of the two countries and peoples and make joint efforts to expand and develop the bilateral cooperation in all fields.

The message wished Kim Jong Un always good health and success in his work.
