Present at the meeting were Min Sung Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Choe Yong, secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, officials of the UAWK and agricultural workers.

Ri Yong Chol, vice-chairman of the C.C., UAWK, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that the 75-year-long history of the DPRK is a history of great miracles and changes in which the DPRK has developed into a powerful socialist state with invincible might under the wise leadership of the peerlessly great men.

They stressed that the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, who set it as one of the most important tasks for socialist construction to solve the rural question and made tireless efforts to provide a firm guarantee for accomplishing the cause of socialist rural construction in the whole period of their revolutionary leadership, will shine long along with the history of the country.

They said that the programme for the rural revolution in the new era was set forth and turned into a great epochal entity thanks to the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, adding that socialist civilization is being brought into full bloom in different parts of the country day by day.

They called upon all the officials and members of the UAWK to become genuine patriots who devote their all to the prosperity of socialist Korea of Juche shining with the august name of the great sun under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
