The contest brought together more than 9,000 sports group members of schools. Competitions were made in 18 sports events including Taekwon-Do, basketball and volleyball, divided into sections of senior middle, junior middle and primary schools.

Pyongyang Municipality came first in the total standings of the contest and at least 30 players were selected as the best players.
