Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man, First Vice-Chairman and Director of the Organizational Department Pak Ku Ho, Vice-Chairman Nam Sung U, Vice-Chairman and Director of the General Affairs Department Pae Jin Gu, Vice-Chairman Jo Il Yon, Vice-Chairman and Director of the Education Department Song Kun Hak and Vice-Chairman and Director of the Department for International Affairs and Reunification So Chung On of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Kang Chu Ryon, vice-chairwoman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan, Ri Myong Yu, chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, members of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, chairpersons of the Chongryon Headquarters in the Kanto area and chairpersons of the Chongryon branches.

Councilors and vice department directors of the Central Committee of Chongryon and members of its Central Audit Committee were present as observers.

Pae Jin Gu explained about the outstanding idea and theory of the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un on creating a model unit and generalizing it widely and making mass innovations in building a socialist power through the campaign for overtaking, learning from and swapping experiences with each other as well as his immortal leadership feats.

Then followed speeches on the successes and experience gained by officials of the Chongryon branches in the movement for creating models.

The speakers noted that through the movement for creating a model, the branch work was developed in a fresh way, the service and welfare activities closely related to the life of compatriots were revitalized, the trust relationship with broad sections of compatriots further deepened and the cultural activities for preserving the national character including national education were briskly conducted to turn the branch organizations into the compatriot-first organization.

They called upon all the branch officials to more vigorously turn out in the patriotic mass movement.

Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, made a concluding speech.

He urged the branch chairpersons to make all efforts to turn the branches into organizations firmly based on compatriots from all walks of life, in which core elements of compatriots act as the leading role, and into organizations guided by the compatriot-first principle.
