When the national anthem of the DPRK was played, all the audience paid high tribute to the flag of the DPRK.

The performance began with the chorus "Song of General Kim Il Sung", an immortal revolutionary hymn. Put on the stage were such colorful numbers as mixed sextet "Song of the Proclamation of the People's Republic" and chorus "Our Supreme Commander" and male solo "We Started from Scratch".

Listening to the songs loudly sung at worksites for nation building and at democratic schools, the audience recollected with deep emotion the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who achieved the great cause of building a country by dint of self-reliance and made the DPRK shine as the country of Juche, the one of hero and people.

The atmosphere of the performance revved up with numbers reflecting the boundless glory and happiness of holding in high esteem the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, who puts forward the young people as the vanguard in building a powerful country and bestows great love and trust on them.

Among the audience were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang Municipality.
