Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Great Leaders
Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- The participants in celebrations of the 75th DPRK birthday on Friday laid floral baskets at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

They climbed Mansu Hill with boundless reverence for the great leaders who built an invincible socialist state, the great people's country, and provided an eternal foundation for the prosperity of all generations with the unique idea of building a state independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence and through gigantic revolutionary practice.

The guard of honor of the Korean People's Army was lined up there.

A floral basket in the name of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was laid before the statues.

Also placed were floral baskets in the names of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

The participants paid high tribute to the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the father of socialist Korea and founder and builder of the powerful Republic, most prominent leaders of the people and peerless patriots.

They vowed to devote themselves to the sacred struggle for the comprehensive development and prosperity of Korean-style socialism by always upholding with loyalty the idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un, who ushered in a new era of a great power, our state-first era.
