Laid before the statues of the great leaders on September 8 were the floral baskets in the names of the Association of Korean Nationals in Dandong City of China, Shen Qingsong, chairperson of the Association of Korean Nationals in Dandong City of China who is also chairperson of the General Association of the Traders of Korean Nationality in Dandong City of China, and Lin Bin, manager of the Hengfeng Trade Co. Ltd. in Dandong of China.

On the same day, Giancarlo Elia Valori, president of the International Group of Italy, the deputy general director for Tourism of the Presidential Office of Equatorial Guinea, the president of the Association of Humanitarian Activities and Development of Congo, and Liu Chunxi and Liu Yongxi, members of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, sent floral baskets to the statues of the great leaders.
