Present at the joint meeting on the theme of the "75-year history of the DPRK recorded with victory and miracles" were members of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, the Arab Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People and organizations for friendship and solidarity in Asian, African and Arab regions, a former prime minister of the Nepalese government and other personages of various circles. They participated in the meeting directly or through video conferencing.

Prior to the meeting, a floral basket in the name of the participants was laid at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.

Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, chairman of the Arab Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, made an opening address to be followed by a congratulatory speech.

There were also a keynote report and speeches.

Damian Ogbonna, chairman of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, in his keynote report highly praised the exploits of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, the founding father of the country. He said that with the birth of the DPRK, the Korean people became genuine masters of the state and society and the DPRK came to emerge a full-fledged independent and sovereign state in the international arena.

He said that the DPRK, which had demonstrated its might as a politico-ideological and military power under the leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Il, is brilliantly shining as a miraculous country with the strongest strength in the world and the only Juche power in the present era at the climax of dignity and strength as it is led by H.E. Kim Jong Un.

Madav Kumar Nepal, former prime minister of the Nepalese government, and other speakers said that the great President Kim Il Sung was a master of ideology and theory and a peerlessly great man who made enormous contributions to the building of an independent and sovereign state. Noting that the Korean people are vigorously struggling to build a powerful state and a peaceful new world while frustrating all challenges under the leadership of General Kim Jong Un who carried forward the revolutionary cause of H.E. Kim Jong Il, they called for strengthening the friendship and solidarity between the Korean people and the African and Arab peoples.

A congratulatory letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
