Present there were Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, and other senior officials of the Party, government and military.

Invited to it were labor innovators devoting themselves to the development and eternal prosperity of our great state.

The garden of the Mansudae Assembly Hall, the venue of the reception, was filled with gratitude to the great Party which ushered in a new era of great transformation with the people-first politics and is adding luster to the life and struggle of the working people.

The national anthem of the DPRK was played.

Kim Tok Hun made a speech at the reception.

He warmly congratulated all the people across the country greeting the 75th birthday of the DPRK with the pride of having contributed to the prosperity and development of the state with boundless creative enthusiasm, wisdom, pure conscience and sincere efforts.

He said that thanks to the great people, genuine patriotic citizens who are enriching the wealth of this land and building up the might of a powerful country with their sweat, the DPRK could achieve today's victory, overcoming all challenges.

The national flag and emblem of the DPRK is shining more brilliantly in this night of September, thanks to the intense loyalty and fortitude of labor innovators who took the lead in every theater of socialist construction and kindled the flames of the patriotic movement, he said, adding:

With the great patriotic spirit continuously carried forward in our life and practice, the socialist motherland will grow stronger and prosper and those persons of merits, innovators, will be always valued and respected as the mainstay of the country's strength, dignity and reputation in the vigorous struggle for the wellbeing of posterity.

The speaker expressed belief that all the people of the country, including the labor innovators valued and preferentially treated by the Party and the state, would as ever devote themselves to the patriotic struggle for the eternal dignity and rosy future of the DPRK, their beloved motherland, true to the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
