The Central Committee of the youth league carried on the organizational and political work in a substantial way to make the students prepare themselves to be future pillars in the course of broadening their knowledge and performing labor feats in practice, especially at the grand construction site.

Youth league officials and students of various universities revved up the atmosphere of the construction site through their dynamic agitprop activities.

In the spirit to complete in the set time the construction of a new street in Sopho area of Pyongyang Municipality, those students carried out such tasks as excavation and transport of more than 23, 400 cubic meters of earth, placing of more than 12, 000 cubic meters of concrete and transport of more than 2, 160 tons of building materials during their summer vacation.

The patriotic efforts, rendered by students to a major theater of the capital city construction, inspired all the young builders to collective innovation.
