In the men's football final held prior to the closing ceremony, the team of the Ministry of IT Industry beat the team of the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport 3:0.

Present there were Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and premier of the Cabinet, Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, members of the National Sports Guidance Committee, senior officials of commissions, ministries and national institutions, public officials and players.

The total standings and the ones of each event were announced at the ceremony.

The team of the Ministry of IT Industry came first in team standings at the sports contest.

Kim Tok Hun awarded rotating pennants and trophies to the victorious teams.

Vice-Premier Kim Song Ryong gave a closing address.
