Present there on invitation were acting Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Vice-Minister of Defence Alexandr Fomin and other personages of Russia's parliament, government, political parties, organizations and institutions, including the Federation Council, the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology, the United Russia Party, the Korean War Veterans' Council, the Academy of Sciences, the Orchestra of the 21st Century and the Tass news agency, and diplomatic envoys and military attaches of different countries to Russia.

Ambassador Sin Hong Chol and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Moscow were on hand.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together and paid tribute to them.

Then they looked at the photos dealing with the undying exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations and photos showing the tremendous national power of the DPRK.

Speeches were made at the reception.

Meanwhile, the DPRK missions in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok of Russia hosted receptions on September 8.
