The GAKC, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Jilin City branch of the Jilin Regional Association of the GAKC, the family of Hwang Paek Ha, a China-resident Korean related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and the family of Hong Yong Sun, former vice-chairperson of the Jilin Regional Association paid a floral tribute to the statue of President Kim Il Sung at Yuwen Middle School on September 9.

Floral baskets in the names of the GAKC, the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Zhongnan Regional Association of the GAKC, the Beijing City branch of the Zhongnan Regional Association and other units were laid before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the art work depicting their images at the DPRK embassy in Beijing and DPRK missions in Shenyang and Dandong.

A meeting for adopting a letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un took place at the conference hall of the GAKC.

A meeting of the GAKC was held in Shenyang to celebrate the 75th birthday of the DPRK.

Present there were Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and officials of the GAKC, members of its Central Standing Committee, members of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China and the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and chiefs of its affiliated regional associations and branches.

The reporter paid high tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who founded and wisely guided the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and extended heartfelt thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who turned the DPRK into a political and military power recognized by the world.

She said that the officials of the GAKC would definitely orient all the work to the compatriots-first principle, as taught by Kim Jong Un in his historic letter to the 25th Congress of Chongryon (General Association of Korean Residents in Japan), and consistently maintain it and focus their efforts on the work for defending the rights to independence, existence and development of overseas citizens and ensuring their demand, interests and convenience of life on a priority basis.

Earlier on September 7, there was an art performance in celebration of the 75th DPRK birthday.

Among the audience were Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and officials of the GAKC, representatives of its affiliated organizations and other compatriots in China and officials of the DPRK mission in Shenyang.

Meanwhile, colorful celebration events were held by the GAKC and its affiliated organizations, including the Zhongnan Regional Association, the Mudanjiang Regional Association, and the Shenyang City branch of the Liaoning Regional Association.
