National Symposium on Public Health Held

| Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- A national symposium on public health took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on September 12-13 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Medical Association of Korea. Present there were officials, researchers, teachers and others in the field of public health. Kim Hyong Hun, vice-minister of Public Health, made a speech at the symposium. The symposium heard research papers conducive to solving sci-tech problems arising in the field of medical science and public health. More than 180 research papers presented by 50-odd units including the Environmental Sanitation Institute under the Academy of Medical Science were highly appreciated. During the symposium there were also lectures on science. |
