Paek received congratulations from officials of the provincial and city committees of the Workers' Party of Korea, families, relatives and villagers. She was deeply moved and expressed gratitude to Kim Jong Un.

Born into a poor peasant family before the national liberation, she had to live in the grief of a stateless nation, suffering all sorts of maltreatment and contempt. She could lead a worthwhile life in a genuine people's country liberated by President Kim Il Sung.

Saying that the socialist system is the best in the world, she requested her children to support the state with all sincerity.
