The provincial Party committee and agricultural guidance organs at all levels have worked out a realistic plan for further promoting the cultivation of wheat and barley from next year and powerfully pushed ahead with its implementation with emphasis placed on putting their guidance on farming on a scientific, technological and timely footing.

The provincial rural economy committee gave priority to technical guidance to successfully complete sowing by improving the effectiveness of the sharing of advanced technique through demonstration lectures for wheat and barley seed sowing in cities and counties.

It took measures to fully prepare high-yielding wheat and barley seeds and distribute them, according to the characteristics of units and fields.

Given that disastrous abnormal weather has become a fait accompli, it has synthesized and analyzed the weather observation data of the past decade and made sure that the province prevents natural disaster damage by perfecting the irrigation system. It has also directed efforts to ensuring the wheat and barley farming.
