The Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) organized more than 1, 000 farm machine repair teams with technicians and skilled workers, and sent them to farms to make a contribution to ensuring the full operation of farm machines.

Workers in South Hwanghae Province have taken measures for keeping threshers at full-capacity operation at the Inbong Farm in Kangryong County, Phanryuk Farm in Anak County and other places.

Technicians and skilled workers of the Pyongyang Measuring Instrument Factory and the Pyongyang Corn Processing Factory, too, handed over many accessories and materials to farms in Kangnam County and Rangnang District, thus contributing to repair and maintenance of farm machines.

Workers from the Sukchon County Food Administration Station, Anju Tractor Parts Factory and other units are touring farms to solve problems arising in the normal operation of farm machines.

Similar campaigns are witnessed in North Phyongan, South Hamgyong and other provinces of the DPRK.
