Yearly Timber Production Plan Fulfilled at Forest Complex 121 of DPRK
Pyongyang, October 4 (KCNA) -- The workers of the Forestry Complex 121 in the DPRK have fulfilled their yearly plan for timber production through strenuous efforts to implement the resolutions of the plenary meetings of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee.

The Samsu Forestry Station properly set timber land and concentrated efforts on logging to finish its yearly plan first.

The Songpha Forestry Station carried out their daily plan by 120 percent through introduction of various efficient working methods suited to the logging conditions.

Drivers of the Sangchang Forestry Station increased their daily transport plan while ensuring the safety of operation. And the engineers of forest railway carried hundreds more of cubic meters of logs by raising the rate of actual operation.

The Ryongha Forestry Station concentrated logs in rafting sites in the river basin and provided enough rafting materials to speed up its work.

The rafters of Pujon and Jaso forestry stations carried more logs of 10 cubic meters per raft than before by repairing barrage and managing waterways in a responsible manner.

The complex directed efforts to raising the crane operation rate at railway stations given the increased logging amount, increasing the earthwork capacity and supplying spare parts needed for production to ensure that all the forestry processes are dovetailed with each other.
