Members of the art squads of the central committees of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, the Socialist Women's Union of Korea and the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea have been active at major construction sites and farms.

Those of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League gave performances at the construction site for a new street in the Sopho area of the capital city and those of the GFTUK at the construction site for second-stage 10 000 flats in the Hwasong area to encourage the builders.

Art squad members have conducted their performing activities on farm fields in Unchon, Unryul and Jangyon and other counties of South Hwanghae Province.

The agitation activities, conducted by the art squad members of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea at major construction sites in the capital city and various farms in Yangdok, Sinyang, Sonchon and Hoechang counties, hardened the will of builders and agricultural workers to make substantial contributions to the prosperity and development of the country and the promotion of people's well-being.

Art squad members of the UAWK, too, went to farms in Rangnang District of Pyongyang Municipality and Sungho, Yonsan and Koksan counties of North Hwanghae Province to rev up the morale of agricultural workers with songs, comic stories and other artistic works.
