Taking part in the contest are amateur writers from across the country and members of the literary groups organized at industrial establishments and in regions.

Members of the literary groups at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and other units have created many works reflecting the stirring reality.

The Taean Heavy Machine Complex sent over 100 literary works created by its officials and employees to the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea.

Literary groups in Kilju County of North Hamgyong Province and other counties created works reflecting the new era of rural development.

The contest will last till October.
