The message extended warm congratulations and wishes to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and officials of the WPK Central Committee, all the Party members and the fraternal Korean people on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the WPK (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2023).

It expressed the great pleasure over the fact that the DPRK government and the fraternal Korean people have made signal achievements in firmly defending the gains of the revolution, ensuring the political stability, rapidly developing the defence and security forces and the economic power and improving the people's standard of living over the past 78 years since the WPK was founded and developed.

We are sure that the Korean party, government and people will continue to achieve successes in implementing the resolutions of the 8th Congress of the WPK and in defending the country, building a socialist power and accomplishing the cause of peaceful national reunification under the powerful leadership of the WPK headed by you, it said, adding:

I will continue to work closely with you to further develop the cooperative relations between the two parties, states and peoples of Laos and the DPRK with a long tradition in the interests of the two peoples and ensure the regional and global peace, friendship, cooperation and development.

The message wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and success in accomplishing the noble cause.
