The presentation, held on the theme of "Database building and service of the library", aimed at widely disseminating and generalizing advanced technology in libraries and Mirae e-libraries and thus contributing to the maintenance and reinforcement and the revitalization of production at different sectors and units of the national economy.

The presentation, attended by officials, scientists, technicians and postgraduates from tens of units including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, State Academy of Sciences, Grand People's Study House, libraries and Mirae e-libraries across the country, heard more than 110 pieces of scientific and technological achievements and experience in their operation.

During the presentation the participants shared successes and experience gained in sprucing up the libraries as centers for training scientific and technological talents, steadily updating the database with latest scientific and technological data and giving the expertise suited to their jobs and fields to officials and working people.
