The reporter noted that General Secretary Kim Jong Un initiated the construction of the institute and energetically led the whole process of its construction.

Kim Jong Un expressed great satisfaction at the institute, which was successfully built on the occasion of the significant founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), during his visit to it, and sent a lot of modern equipment and vehicles necessary for its scientific research, the report said.

It referred to the fact that officials and scientists of the institute succeeded in growing and introducing new mushroom varieties and in producing substitute substrate for mushroom production by themselves.

The reporter called upon all the officials and researchers of the institute to glorify this significant year with more achievements in research into mushrooms with the pride and honor of working at the glorious workplace.
