Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made an address to be followed by speeches.

The speakers said that with the founding of the WPK by President Kim Il Sung, the Korean people could confidently advance along the road of building new society and creating a new life under the leadership of the Party and a new era of building a revolutionary party advancing under the banner of independence was ushered in.

They noted that Chairman Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into the party of the leader and the invincible party both in name and reality and set an epochal example in building a revolutionary party with his distinguished idea and theory and through his energetic activities.

They said that the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un proclaimed the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the eternal guiding idea of the Party and modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the supreme programme of the Party and has remarkably bolstered up the fighting efficiency and leadership ability of the Party.

They said that the young people of the DPRK have grown up to be reliable successors to the cause of Juche and patriotic youth under the guidance of the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea, and are demonstrating their might as proud masters of the youth power and the most vital unit of society.

They called upon all the youth league officials and young people to further glorify their honor as the vanguard of the revolution in victoriously concluding this year's struggle for prosperity of the country.
