Development of Educational Institutions Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- Successes were made in the work to renew educational institutions across the country, true to the important tasks set forth at the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

More than 100 schools and kindergartens have been spruced up across the country and more than 11,000 multi-functional classrooms have been arranged this year.

Mangyongdae, Phyongchon and Pothonggang districts of Pyongyang Municipality successfully remodeled Kwangbok Street Technical Senior Middle School, Kansong Junior Middle School, Rakwon Primary School and other educational units by actively sharing and generalizing advanced building methods and experience while strictly keeping the requirements of design and construction.

Officials of North Hamgyong, North Phyongan and South Hwanghae provinces took the lead in improving the educational conditions and environment of kindergartens, making achievements every day.

Thanks to the devoted efforts and sincerity of officials and supporting organizations, many classrooms were turned into multi-functional ones in Kaesong, Rason and Nampho municipalities amid the growing social atmosphere of supporting the educational sector.
