Young People Volunteer to Do Difficult Work in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- More young people in South Phyongan Province of the DPRK volunteered to work at coal mines, city and county construction brigades, mountain village schools and other places.

At least 80 young people, including an instructor of the provincial youth league committee, joined the youth shock brigades in the field of coal industry.

Those young people in Phyongsong City, Yangdok County, Phyongwon County and Unsan County, too, requested their youth league organizations to send them to the city and county construction brigades.

Those in Jungsan, Maengsan and Sinyang counties volunteered to work at farms, road management teams and mountain village schools.

Among the volunteers are graduates of Phyongsong University of Coal Mining, Phyongsong University of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and other universities. They expressed their will to become honorable participants in the grand creation drive by volunteering to work at the construction site for a new street in the Sopho area of the capital city.

Officials and young people in the province saw them off, presenting flowers to them.
