The book contains 67 works including historic speeches, talks and instructions made by the Chairman from January to July Juche 87 (1998).

In his work "We Should Glorify the Great Leader's Exploits in the Victorious War Forever", the Chairman stressed the need to educate the civilians and servicepersons, the younger generation in particular, through the visit to the Fatherland Liberation War Historic Site to have a deep understanding of the immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by leading the war to victory and to train them to be staunch revolutionaries ready to dedicate themselves to the Party, the leader, the country and the people.

Several works indicate the tasks and ways in the work of the Korean People's Army, including the one for directing greater efforts to establishing the Party's command system across the army and firmly rallying the entire army around its Supreme Commander with one idea and will.

Another work stresses the need for all the teachers of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School to train the students to be reliable successors to the revolutionary cause of Juche by educating them well, always bearing deep in mind the expectations of the Party.

The collection also contains the works giving clear-cut answers to the theoretical and practical issues arising in the revolution and construction, including the issue of directing efforts to road management and land realignment and the issue for working people's organizations to actively conduct mass cultural and art activities.
