Since the start of the second-stage project for building another 10,000 flats in the Hwasong area and the project for building a new street in the Sopho area, more than 65,000 trade union officials and members have contributed to the projects, carrying out such tasks as the land leveling of 41,000 square meters and the transport of 3,000 cubic meters of materials through the night support campaign.

The GFTUK Central Committee conducted offensively the political work for encouraging all the union members to fulfill their mission and duty as the heroic working class in the struggle for implementing the important tasks set forth at the plenary meetings of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee.
