Unsan and Thaechon counties have found the resources of raw materials for making finishing building materials in their areas, and put the production of tens of kinds of finishing building materials, including waterproof materials, on a normal basis.

Yomju County and Jongju City have improved the quality of finishing building materials by modernizing tens of kinds of equipment.

Tongrim and Kwaksan counties reinforce the stone-dressing equipment, provide a guarantee for boosting the capacity for producing building stone, and make various finishing building materials like handrails with the remnants of stones.

Other areas, too, have laid foundations for making more building materials including colored roofing tiles.
