Floral Basket Laid before Statues of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- Members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Kim Tok Hun, Jo Yong Won, Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Pyong Chol and other members of the leadership body of the Party Central Committee placed a floral basket before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill on Oct. 10 on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Among them were officials of the WPK Central Committee and officials of armed forces organs, ministries and national institutions.

The participants went up the hill, looking back with deep emotion on the immortal exploits performed by the President and the Chairman in building and leading the party.

The guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up there.

A floral basket in the name of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was laid before the statues.

Also placed before the statues were floral baskets in the names of the WPK Central Committee, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

The participants paid tribute to the statues.
