Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Great Leaders in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- Officials, working people, service personnel and school youth and children in the DPRK laid floral baskets at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il across the country.

With boundless reverence for the peerlessly great men, many citizens visited the Mansu Hill in the capital city of Pyongyang where the statues of the great leaders are standing.

Placed at the statues were floral baskets in the names of the party, power and armed forces organs, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Public Security Forces (PSF), and institutions, enterprises, universities, etc. at all levels in the city.

The chief and members of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front laid bouquets at the statues.

The visitors made deep bows to the statues.

Floral baskets in the names of institutions, enterprises, units of the KPA and the PSF and other units, together with bouquets and flowers, were placed at the statues of the great leaders and mosaics depicting their smiling images in different parts of Pyongyang, including Kim Il Sung University and the Mansudae Art Studio.

Officials, working people, service personnel and school youth and children in all other parts of the country paid floral tribute to the statues of the great leaders and the portraits of their smiling images in their residential areas.
