Sariwon Steel Works in DPRK

| Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK finished the blast furnace construction for expanding the production capacity of the Sariwon Steel Works in a short span of time and succeeded in trial operation. The first molten iron was turned out at the newly-built blast furnace. This success makes it possible to push ahead with various projects for the regional development and the improvement of people's living standard in the province, including rural housing construction. |
