Present there were personages of Russia's parliament, government, political parties and organizations, including the State Duma, the Foreign Ministry, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Party for Peace and Unity, the Academy of Sciences, the Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, and the DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy officials.

Speeches were made at the round-table talk.

The director of the Asia 1 Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia and the DPRK are strengthening mutual support and solidarity in the same trench against the U.S. and its vassal forces, and expressed the will to make every effort to implement the agreement reached at the historic Russia-DPRK summit.

A Presidium member of the C.C., Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is first vice-chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the State Duma said that the Russia-DPRK friendship has a long history and tradition and the DPRK's support and solidarity are the greatest strength and encouragement to Russia.

The bilateral relations forged in the joint struggle against the Japanese imperialists are developing onto a higher stage after Comrade Kim Jong Un's visit to Russia, the chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia said, adding that the Russia-DPRK friendship will remain unchanged no matter how much water has flowed under bridge and though everything may change.

The section chief of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other speakers said that the historic Russia-DPRK summit was an epoch-making occasion that promoted the development of the bilateral relations, expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations would be strengthened into a higher stage.
