The provincial committee of the women's union has intensified political work to encourage all its members to turn out in the struggle for implementing the resolutions of the plenary meetings of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A brisk women's union field movement was launched on every farm field busy with the struggle to attain the grain-production goal set forth by the Party.

The Kim Chaek City and Myonggan County committees of the women's union sent a large amount of rabbit meat to those builders involved in the construction of a new street in the Sopho area of the capital city and the rural housing construction.

Many union members have joined in the mass movements for assisting the service personnel and taking good care of war veterans, disabled soldiers and families of service personnel.

Those members in Chongam District of Chongjin City, Kyongsong County and other areas have done voluntary work for bolstering up the national defence capability and improving the people's standard of living, through mass saving and patriotic labor movements.
