Present there were personages of progressive parties and organizations and members of the Juche idea study organizations in Nordic countries, including Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

The participants laid bouquets at the art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together, which was displayed in the venue of the meeting, and paid tribute to them.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association read out an article titled "Unique Party organizing and mobilizing broad masses of the people".

The article said that the WPK has advanced the revolution and construction to victory over the past 78 years, overcoming the manifold difficulties by dint of great unity and that it has become a powerful force defending the global independence, peace and international justice.

Then followed speeches.

The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association praised President Kim Il Sung's feats for the building of a revolutionary party of Juche. He noted that the WPK has fully demonstrated its dignity as the organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people for decades and actively supported the struggle of peoples of different countries against imperialism and colonialism.

The international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League said that the Korean people turned their country into a socialist state independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence under the guidance of the WPK. He hoped that greater victory would be in store for the WPK fulfilling its duty as the motherly party under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un.

A congratulatory message to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
