The Korean people are putting further spurs to attaining this year's goals and fulfilling long-term tasks, true to the grand action programme advanced by the Party Central Committee, the editorial says, adding:

Today we are faced with heavy task to proudly conclude with more splendid achievements this eventful year.

To successfully attain the economic development goals set forth by the Party is the responsible struggle for providing a decisive guarantee for the fulfillment of the five-year plan.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un in his historic speech at the 9th Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly stressed that the most urgent task facing the government of our Republic is to bring about a substantial change in the country's economic work and in the solution of problems arising in improving the people's livelihood by successfully attaining the 12 goals for the development of the national economy and other economic objectives.

Now is the important and responsible time when all the people should do their utmost and make uninterrupted progress and successive offensive to achieve the successful conclusion of this year.

It is the revolutionary disposition peculiar to the Korean people to win greater victory in the spirit of brave uninterrupted advance.

Clear are the goals we must attain, and we have inexhaustible strength and potentials to do so.
