President Kim Il Sung founded the factory on October 20, Juche 42 (1953) and showed warm love and trust in its officials and employees so that they could work well like their husbands, who had been intensely loyal to the Party and the revolution, and as befitting the wives of servicepersons safeguarding the defence line of the country.

Chairman Kim Jong Il indicated in detail the orientation and ways for improving the production and management of the factory and kindly guided its workers and technicians to take the lead in implementing the Party's policies.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made sure that the good deeds, done by officials and workers of the factory for society and the collective, were given wide publicity. He also saw a collection of writings presented by its employees, bestowing great benevolence on them.

Over the past 70 years the factory has carried out its revolutionary tasks in a responsible manner, covering a proud road of development.

A meeting took place on Thursday to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the factory.
