Attending the seminar were leaders of political parties and lawmakers of Mexico, delegates of more than 60 political parties from over 40 countries including the DPRK, China, Cuba, Vietnam, Nicaragua and Venezuela.

Present there on invitation were the former president of Honduras, the general secretary of the Sao Paulo Forum and diplomatic envoys of different countries to Mexico.

A congratulatory message of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) was read out at the seminar to be followed by speeches.

Speakers referred to the successes and experience gained by those countries accelerating the democratic social reforms and to the fierce struggle with the forces standing against them.

They called upon all the revolutionary, progressive and anti-imperialist independent forces aspiring after socialism across the world to boost unity and solidarity in the struggle against imperialism, the common enemy.

Adopted at the seminar was a "Solidarity resolution supporting the just struggle of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people".

The resolution expressed firm support and solidarity to the fact that under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the WPK and the Korean people splendidly celebrated the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK and the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and have waged a vigorous struggle to resolutely foil the hostile forces' sanctions and military provocations and achieve the overall prosperity of Korean-style socialism.

It rejected the dangerous war drills, frequent deployment of nuclear strike means and unethical sanctions and blockade by the U.S. and its vassal forces threatening the right to existence and development and security of the DPRK and the Korean people and bringing the danger of a nuclear war to the region and the world and strongly demanded the withdrawal of the anachronistic anti-DPRK hostile policy.

And it called upon all the progressive political parties and organizations of different countries aspiring after independence, justice and peace to wage a widespread solidarity movement for frustrating the U.S. and its followers' nuclear war moves and supporting the just struggle of the WPK, the DPRK and the Korean people.
