Present there were Wi Chol Su, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials, working people, teaching staff and students of relevant units.

The reporters noted that the President gave field guidance to the Sinpho Fishery Station, the Hungnam Electrode Factory, the Songchongang Tile Factory, Hamhung University of Medicine, the Undok Industrial Hospital in Hungdok District of Hamhung City and several farms in Hamju and Yonggwang counties in October Juche 42 (1953) though he was busy with guiding the postwar reconstruction.

The reports referred to the proud successes made by the relevant units in the vigorous struggle to implement the behests of the leader and the Party's policies.

They called upon all the officials, working people, teaching staff and students to fulfill their civic duty in the struggle for implementing the resolutions of the 8th Congress of the WPK and plenary meetings of the WPK Central Committee by faithfully upholding the idea and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
