Founding Anniversary of WPK Marked in Russia

Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) -- Colorful events including celebration meeting, seminar, lecture and film show took place at the Khabarovsk Territorial Branch Committee and the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Party for Peace and Unity, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea in Tynda City and the Far East State Science Library to mark the 78th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Present at the events were personages and members of the relevant units.

The participants watched videos showing the glorious course covered by the ever-victorious Workers' Party of Korea.

Speeches were made there.

Congratulatory messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held by the Khabarovsk Territorial Branch Committee and the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea in Tynda City.

Meanwhile, an internet seminar on the exploits was held by the All-Russia Lenin Young Communist League to mark the 78th anniversary of the WPK and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Russia and a meeting by the Communist Party of Soviet Union to celebrate the 78th birthday of the WPK.
